I walked around the house trying to find a real object for this challenge, I didn’t find anything that really stood out. I knew I had some old single earrings that I had lost the mates to so I decided to check my jewelry boxes. I found a rose earring, a tiki pendant and a hair pin (bee) and decided to use the hairpin.
I had also gone through some wood stamps that I bought last year on ebay when I first started making cards, there was a cute Penny Black stamp called “Lovin Flowers” and decided it would be perfect for the bee hairpin. I stamped on Linen cardstock from Papers and More with SSS Barely Beige ink, colored the image with Prismacolor pencils. I also used a part of a Gina K sentiment for the “Smile” on the sign.
What a fun challenge, now I am going to challenge myself to use the other items I found.
This is so cute, love your colouring and use of the hairclip

The hair pin is a very cute embellishment and as a bonus the recipient can use it for it’s actual purpose! Great idea! Very cute card with skilled coloring. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More!
